Service Centre

Polyweld Machinery operates a dedicated workshop for the maintenance, repair and after sales care of all of our plastic welding machinery and tooling. The service arm of the Freeman Group of companies is Freeman Industries (formerly Bobway Electrics), which was established in 1983. The entity originally started as an electric motor winding business, which then progressed into the service of all electrical and power equipment. 

Our trained and qualified electrical fitters have many years of experience in the repairs of electric motors, pumps, generators and power tools. Butt-fusion welders of all makes are serviced in-house, including the hydraulic pumps, ram seals and cylinder repairs. Hand extruders and hot air tools of all makes are also serviced and repaired in-house. 

The workshop is well equipped with lathes, milling machines, welding equipment and wash facilities. We conduct repairs to electrofusion welders, including service and calibration facilities for Georg Fischer machines. All work is undertaken on custom made, ergonomic workstations providing comfortable conditions, and with the best in electrical testing equipment on hand.
