Polyweld Machinery have rotary pipe scrapers available for short and long-term hire. Pipe scrapers are an essential tool for the preparation of HDPE pipe for electrofusion welding. The rotary scraper removes a thin layer from the outside of the pipe, removing the oxidation layer that can cause weld failures. Polyweld has two pipe scraper models available for hire:
- Ritmo PS180 rotary pipe scraper (working range 75-200mm OD)
- Caldervale UNIPREP2 rotary pipe scraper (working range 125-500mm OD)
